Creativity! Drawing, music, photography, writing, on and on.  After graduating engineering school, I hit the road in a travelling band writing, playing, and recording music for several years.  Not the most direct route to a career in engineering, but full of challenges, successes, and even setbacks that have helped me with problem solving ever since. My greatest joy is my wife Staci and our family. My two daughters continue to show me new gears I never imagined.  Board games, hiking, kayaking, and exploring National Parks are our current pastimes.

I hope to be a contestant on Survivor (TV show) some day…
